NewReptileCages.com, a Packard West LLC company, is the culmination of a hobby started 2000 miles away in a damp Ohio basement.  Over the years, we’ve owned, bred, and bartered California Kingsnakes, Gila Monsters, Bearded Dragons, Ball Pythons, Sugar Gliders, Iguanas, and nearly ever other domestic critter. Having built our own cages for most of that time, we began getting requests from friends and other hobbyists to design their custom enclosures.  Always happy to oblige, the “light bulb” didn’t really turn on until Nick moved to the Phoenix-area and discarded a few cages that were too large to fit in the U-haul.  In less than a day on Craigslist, he was getting $600 and up for heavily-used triple-decker cages!  It was obvious that people had a difficult time finding larger enclosures through conventional retailers and appreciated the craftsmanship we provided.  It wasn’t long after that we annexed a corner of our shop and NewReptileCages.com was born.
